How to get started Housing with The Callie Foundation

(Servicing Veterans in the following counties of Georgia: Richmond, Columbia, Jefferson, Aiken, Burke, Glascocke, Warren and McDuffie)

  • Intake Assessment (sign up via the Members only page Free and fill out Intake form)

  • Refer to counseling or substance abuse rehab or both

  • Referral to The Callie Foundation homeless program or the rapid re-housing program

  • Assist with applying for medical services or benefits

  • Assist locating employment (Daycare if needed)

  • Begin Services

Maxwell House

Maxwell House Apartments is a low-and-moderate income affordable apartment community offering one bedroom apartment homes. Conveniently located in Augusta, GA near downtown, shopping, dining, parks and public transportation. Currently accepting VASH and SSVF funding for Veterans. The Callie Foundation offers additional wrap around services for veterans suffering with MST and PTSD who reside at the Maxwell House. In addition, welcome packages with start-up essentials are provided by Building Unity in the Community, another veteran support initiative.
