My name is Terrye Mack and I am a Realtor, Author, Investor, and Avid Traveler who Served in the United States Marine Corp. I have a military education in Field Wireman, Enable-OA CRS. I and also a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation Medal and Southeast Asia Service medal with 3 Starts and Good Conduct Medal. I do volunteer work with Disabled American Veterans where I hold a lifetime membership. I am also the Commander and Lifetime member of DAVA Chapter 18. I am a member of the Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce, Women Veteran Organization CSRA, GA Military Women, Empowered Sisterhood of Veteran Atlanta, VOWW (Voices of Women Warriors) and a Lifetime member of Women Marine Association (Dogwood Chapter 1).

As a survivor, I am passionate to advocate for change, challenge the stigma surrounding MST, and raise awareness about the issue within the military community and society as a whole. My desire is to be a catalyst for systemic change, to ensure that survivors of MST receive the support, validation and justice they deserve.

After years of doing Real Estate my passion for starting a homeless shelter for veterans with MST was driven by a deep personal connection to the issue. My own experiences sparked a strong sense of empathy and a desire to make a difference in the lives of other who have endured a similar trauma.

I am a Persian Gulf War Veteran who experienced MST while fighting the War. Upon my return home stateside, I was constantly retraumatized within my unit. Even while returning to civilian Life, I faced additional emotional struggles from PTSD all While trying to be a mother. I also have faced being homeless while having to care for children while navigating Mental Health issues. Our Foundation wants to assist other Female Veterans with this Journey.
